Reshape, reduce or augment your nose
Rhinoplasty or “nose job” is one of the most commonly performed plastic surgery procedures. Rhinoplasty is performed to reshape, reduce or augment a person’s nose, remove a hump, narrow nostril width, change the angle between the nose and the mouth, or to correct injury, birth defects, or other problems that affect breathing.
Whereas years ago, rhinoplasty was performed almost only on patients with large humps or deformities, both cosmetic and reconstructive rhinoplasty have evolved. Rhinoplasty can now be performed for patients who are unhappy with part of their nose, such as the tip, via the “open rhinoplasty” technique. Rhinoplasty has become a better, although more technically demanding, procedure since newer and better techniques have been developed to allow for more finesse and more natural-looking results. It is usually an outpatient procedure performed under either sedation or general anesthesia.
